WhiteFox Keyboard – A 65% keyboard

Designed by Matt3o and produced in collaboration with Massdrop/Input Club, the WhiteFox has been highly sought after.
However, that doesn’t mean bringing this project to life hasn’t been hit with its share of problems. Ample delays and damaged bridges with Massdrop have caused Matt3o to seek other means to bring the WhiteFox to consumers.
When will the next drop happen is a bit up in the air but that hasn’t stopped the public from wanting more WhiteFoxes?
The plate and case are both CNC milled aluminium that making this a heavy and premium feeling keyboard. Up top, the keycaps sit above the plate, giving a floating key illusion. Those keycaps are black-on-white PBT with a blue arrow and escape keys for a spark of extra character.
This is essentially a 60% keyboard with arrow keys and a partial navigation cluster. It’s the layout options of the WhiteFox where this keyboard starts to distance itself from other 65% keyboards. With 6 layouts to choose from, you can decide the placement of the arrow keys, the bottom row layout, or whether or not you want ISO to enter. Personally, I’m drawn to the classic vanilla layout.
